We would like to introduce our construction achievements of 2×4 houses at the Shiga Wood headquarters. The structure, characterized by the high airtightness and high insulation of the 2×4 construction method, is thoroughly implemented. We simulate the heating and cooling consumption based on weather data and mechanical heat quantities, setting the size of windows and insulation performance. Additionally, a spacious atrium structure from the ground floor to the second floor allows for the entire building to be heated and cooled with five household air conditioners.
